| The following is a transcript of a news broadcast regarding the ducal elections of 5145. PRESENTER: There is now 1 year until the ducal elections in the country, and things could change massively. Let's have a look at them. -- ERNESHIRE - SAFE AF-- PB: 39% CR: 19% APL: 17% PRESENTER: If Luthori is the PB's crown, then Erneshire is its crown jewel. This region has consistently voted for the right since 5070, with an exception in 5110. We don't expect it to go differently this time, as the AF won 58% of the vote in 5142. --ORANGE - LIKELY AF-- PB: 31% CNP: 24% CR: 11% PRESENTER: The AF has 42% here, so if the opposition want to topple the AF here, this would likely need the CNP, LSP, LP & RftE to work together. An unlikely prospect, but in Luthori's climate, this could very much be a legitimate option. --MIDDENRIDING - LIKELY AF-- PB: 29% APL: 14% MTP: 12% PRESENTER: The AF has 38% here, but the opposition isn't as strong here, yet the hypothetical alliance in Orange could still take out the AF here. --SHIPLEYRIDING - MARGINAL -- CSCU: 35% PB: 20% LP: 13% PRESENTER: The consensus nationwide is that the AF will win most of the duchies. If that's true, then Shipleyriding will be the runt of the litter, not like it already is, being the most progressive region. However, the AF have joined with the MTP, to deny the CSCU a local majority. What seemed like a guaranteed win for the CSCU, has turned into a nightmare for them. --NORTHRIDING - SAFE AF-- PB: 27% CR: 27% MTP: 18% PRESENTER: The AF is expected to win 54% of the vote here, so the opposition can't really get their hopes up here. --NATIONAL VERDICT - LIKELY AF MAJORITY-- PRESENTER: The AF is really likely to win this as a whole, possibly winning a 5 duchy sweep, the first since 5085, but if the opposition is well organised, which is unlikely, they could shake things up. |
