Bill: Recreational Drug Choice Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 5152
Description[?]:
This is an act to allow individuals the right to partake in the purchasing of cannabis but with hefty regulation of the sale of the drug. There is no evidence to suggest that cannabis is any more dangerous to the body through inhalation than alcohol or cigarettes, and yet the nation of Mordusia continues its prohibition of the drug. By banning the usage of cannabis, we only ensure that those seeking consumption will receive illegal and potentially dangerous cannabis laced with life-threatening substances. We call on this chamber to pass this law to ensure the freedom of all those wanting to purchase cannabis and to ensure that the sale of it is properly regulated. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
