The Justice Reform Act or better known as the Prison System Reform Bill, this law proposed by Senator Peter Norris, of the Alliance Party was accepted by the Senate with 67 votes for, 45 against and 38 abstentions, this law will now to be discussed and possibly approved by the Imperial Diet, the law itself focuses on improving the lives and treatment of prisoners, and those by creating odd jobs for prison pay and a job plan. education in prison to facilitate rehabilitation, there are also some changes in the law at the federal level with state governments losing power to the federal government on certain matters such as the right to trial by jury and who should be there.
