Anti-vaccination protests that took place across the country after the passage of the Luthorian National Health Services (LNHS) Establishment Act, which made vaccinations compulsory for children, had thousands of people rallying in the streets to protest against the new legislation in force, advocating slogans like "Hands off our bodies" or "Hands off our children", with conservatives of all stripes condemning and regretting the decision of the Diet and Government, Edgars Mitchell, a PLA MP, reacted to these demonstrations by officially supporting them, saying that "the government is trying to put in place policies that give the government too much power over the lives of the citizens and leave little to the first concerned, the people should be the only ones who can decide whether they want to be vaccinated or not." In response to these demonstrations, around 119,000 people went out to demonstrate their support for government policies, with slogans such as "Save our children", "The government is right!", "Save lives, get vaccinated", counter- protesters have the left on their side, with Theodore Horel, an immigrant-turned-politician, saying "the conservatives don't want to save their lives, ok, but if they don't want to save the lives of their children, they're monsters, let's From this get vaccinated, children need compulsory vaccination so as not to have serious illnesses and die at a young age, what's complicated in that, know our lives and that of our children, let's get vaccinated!"
