This Bill proposes a number of fiscal reforms, with the following aims: 1. Message | Axis Mundi Revolution! is interested in a couple of points. We could certtainly support the minimum wage policy, and we would not be averse to shifting some of our tax burden to corporate interests. For quite some time, Likatonia has been a haven for corporate profiteering. But we cannot support this policy of random devolution, and we cannot support this 'thin-end-of-the-wedge' religious agenda. Out Of Character: If the Manion Party puts this to the vote in April, it will fail to 'finish' before the October elections - and will just reset to debate... |

Message | Atricle 2 is anti-business, as it imposes double taxation on dividends paid to the average stockholder. The other issues are reasonable. |

Message | But, since we are alleviating, year-on-year, the tax burden on all Likatonians, surely it is not too much of a burden for those who 'gamble' in stocks, to pay back a little of the profit? |

Message | In the spirit on goodwill and bonhmie, We in the manion Party submit this slightly amended Bill. we have reduced the initial level of Corporations Tax from 7.5% to 2.5%. Hopefiully this will not be so painful to the average shareholder, and will not eat into the bribery budgets of big industry. Additionally, with respect to Axis Mundi, we have softened our religious stance by making the taxation decision a local matter. This will support our structured devolution, and allow central government to focus on more serious issues. We hope that you can all now see your way to supporting this moderate adjustment. |

Message | Axis Mundi Revolution! must still refuse, unfortunately. The devolutionist agenda strikes at the heart of our vision of government policy - it removes power from a single governing body - making it much harder to keep government transparent and accountable - and builds smaller 'feudal baronies'... with all the threat of collusion and corruption that attends having your politicians and your special interests as neighbours. Indeed - the ONLY thing that MIGHT really have tempted us to vote in favour, was shifting some of the tax burden to the idle rich, and the Manion Party caved to special interests pressure on that front. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
