Bill: RP: Political Federations
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fed. Esperança | PT
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 5193
Description[?]:
RP: According to this bill: 1 - All political parties in the country can form a so-called Political Federation, a kind of political alliance where the parties act as one. 1a -- A Federation must have 1 or more parties, and to create a federation, just talk to the leader of the other party. All parties that are part of a federation must have their name at the beginning to be recognized, for example if Party 1 has a federation with Party 2 called A Federação da Esperança, their name must be like this: "Fed. da Esperança | Party 1" "Fed. da Esperança | Party 2". 1b -- Federations can run for president, they just need to endorse each other, for example, Party 2 is small, so he can endorse Party 1, which is bigger, and so he is already supporting the federation. NOTE: Not sure how to endorse? Just go to "presidential candidates" on your party's page and go to "back candidate from:", and then just select your ally! 1c -- Federations may share their seats in the national legislature following this article. 2 - If this bill is approved, the parties will be able to form their federations to run in the elections. Every federation acts as if it were a single party, but it is a kind of political alliance. Federations can also run for state governments. NOTE: This bill will be up for debate until after the elections. All parties can suggest new proposals for this bill. Remembering that if this bill is passed, it should be included in the RP laws article (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=678855). |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
