After the "DMP Economic Order" was passed (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=679622), the leader of the Federation of Luthorian Workers, which is a union close to the Left Party, declared a general strike after 80% of FLW members supported the action. Stephen, the General Secretary of the FLW, stated that "the government works for the employers and not the workers. We want regulated working hours and a say on corporate boards. We are not slaves, we deserve dignity. We produce we produce wealth, unlike capital The FLW organises a one-day general strike to show our discontent". |
