MessageI'm not sure that I understand how military service stops the military (i.e., the armed forces) from really controlling the armed forces (i.e., the military). Perhaps you are suggesting that forced servitude will exercise some sort of oversight over career military men. I do not believe this is true. The slaves are, as with all slaves, low ranking and without power and therefore are unlikely to be able to provide effective oversight.

Of course, even if they *were* able to provide effective oversight, we would not support slavery as a means to obtain oversight and therefore we disagree with you in principle.
