| Mr Speaker, I wish to inform the Honourable Members that I have, following two decades in leading government positions, come to the conclusion that I should hand over the reins to a new generation. I therefore intend to retire from the office of Chancellor, in which I have had the honour to serve for the past eight years, irrespective of the election result. |
