After bad electoral results for the Left Party and the claims of election fraud from Dave Crouch, a vote of no confidence was triggered against the leadership of Mr. Crouch. The National Council of the Left Party decided by 6 votes to 3 that another leadership election had to take place. The election was triggered two weeks later and here are the results: Margaret Campbell (welfare chauvinism, populism, socialism) : 53.5% Dave Crouch (incumbent leader) 32.5% Kenny Chisthi (progressive social-democrat): 12.9% David Hobhouse (communism, metzism) : 1.1% Margaret Campbell is elected leader of the Left Party and will lead the campaign for the April 5237 elections! |
