Members of the Senate, This act will give less legal interference of the Government concerning the striking rights of employees and Trade Unions. and on the actions of employers. When employees are fired, this can be brought to the courts to fight those decisions. I believe that this act will benefit both sides, Thank you, Florence Stove Minister of Trade and Industry |

Current: Employers can fire workers who are deemed to have gone on strike without reasonable reasons.

Old value:: Trade unions must by law hold a ballot of all members before going on strike, majority approval of those that vote is needed from its members.
