Bill: Nationaler Forschungs- und Gewinnungsplan für natürliche Ressourcen

Details

Submitted by[?]: Dundorfs Sozialdemokratische Partei 🌹

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 5260

Description[?]:

Karlotte Lehmann, Federal Chancellor of Dundorf:

Our country hosts hidden natural resources like Uranium, Sulfur, Silver and Silicon. The potential creation of jobs, and trade potential makes me think that a Research and Extraction plan for these resources is needed. First, we will fund researches to locate these deposits, and develop modern and safe ways of extraction, even co-operating with other countries.
Second, once we will have the needed technology and expertise, we will start extracting these resources with thousands of new jobs coming to our country.
In order to do that, we need a stronger Science and Technology budget, and a one-time investment of 1.7 Billions of DUN to be spent in research, a fund coming entirely from our budgetary surplus.

RP Bill:
1) The Federal Government directs Universities and Laboratories to conduct researches on Dundorf's natural resources basines and extraction technology.
2) The Federal Government allocates a fund of 1.7 billions of DUN for the select universities and laboratories to conduct their researches.

We will not support any budget unless there is going to be an increase in chapters Healthcare and Social Services and Education and Culture. Both chapters should be 200,000,000,000 DUM at least.

We favor the purposes for which the budget is being raised so we will vote for this bill. Our fundamental economic difference with the ruling parties is that there is budget surplus which we believe should be used to reform the confiscatory tax rates particularly in the income tax system. We would ask that the administration would start to commence to begin to examine the tax rates with a view to fundamental fairness.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.

Random quote: "If we cannot, by reason, by influence, by example, by strenuous effort, and by personal sacrifice, mend the bad places of civilization, we certainly cannot do it by force." - Auberon Herbert
