You want to prohibit free media? We understand. It is important to have some governmental channels for educational purposes but nationalizing all media stations is restricting in the freedom of the people and it can be abused for political motivations and corruption. A modern democracy should have both to prevent Propaganda and fake news by the government.

MessageLotti Reményi:

While we generally agree that profit motives in media should be eliminated, we consider the establishment of subsidized independent cooperatives, as we proposed in the Mediengenossenschaftnegesetz to be a better alternative, that is more respectful of freedom of speech.

I can understand other parties fear of this olicy but it will mean we can have a media which is governed by all political opinions and mean tta this country's great content is owned by the people.
