Description[?]:
The KAJ delegation in the Constitutional Assembly would like to raise the following proposal for a constitutional amendment. It is no secret that our party is a Lurraren Nationalist political movement, and that we have been campaigning for Lurraren language and cultural rights. As part of our campaign we believe that the Lurraren people are underrepresented when it comes to toponyms. Although the region of Celanija has a substantial Lurraren population, this is not reflected in the name of the region or the official names of its municipalities. Moreover, both in Celanija and in Jildrath there are settlements the population of which is above the constitutional threshold to be recognized as cities, but have not yet been granted this recognition. In order to remedy this situation we propose elevating additional cities to the status of city in both regions, and the introduction of bilingual names wherever appropriate in Celanija. As a compromise and in the spirit of fairness, we also propose that municipalities in other, non-Lurraren regions also be elevated to the status of city wherever possible. After discussion and debate we have also agreed to recognize the proper Delic names of our other cities. OOC: The following regions are renamed: Jildrath -> Jildratua and Etxea Celanija -> Zelan / Celanija The following cities are renamed: In Celanija: Galensk -> Galenburu / Galensk Papoč -> Papotza / Papoč Venora -> Benora / Venora In Jildrath: Jildrati City -> Arratiak In Lirnakica: Elwai ->Elvomesto Kadyn -> Kadašin Tomasadyn -> Tomašin In Pilgonija: Kasaema -> Kasovsko The following cities are added: In Celanija: Iratxoa In Jildrath: Urdaitz Erregelekua In Lirnakica: Drvenik In Pegojnica: Koprivnica Dubočane In Pilgonija: Pisek |

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag |
