| With the approval of the players of Davostag, this bill will authorize the beginning of the major role-play of a civil war (modeled on the Spanish Civil War between 1936–1939) in Davostag and will give authority to the involved players to proceed with the RP without the need to wait on individual agreement on minor RP details from all players. In other words, this will allow active players to continually progress the RP, while the more inactive do not need to approve everything that happens. The role-play will feature four acts. Act 1 will concern internal turmoil and instability from an increasingly pro-Davostani government and the subsequent lead up to the civil war; it will end with a pro-Kivonian military faction to rise in rebellion. Act 2 will concern the start of the civil war and how major skirmishes takes place, the pro-Kivonian faction will from the city of Sankt Christiansberg (Fort Reinhardt) advance towards the capital city Kivonia. About a year into the civil war a third faction will rebel, taking large portions of the Davostagian military with it – opposing both the government and Kivonian rebels. These three factions of the pro-Davostani, the pro-Kivonian and the third will be known as the Federalists (Federals), Centralists (Centrals), and Nationalists (Nationals) respectively. Act 3 will see the Nationalists take the Davostagian islands with complete naval dominance and begin beating back the Federalists and Centralists, and the act will also see the rise of refugees and war crimes committed from all sides, notably towards the Satanilists, the Auroran Patriarchal Church and Skjöld minority. Act 4 will begin with the Federalists and Centralists forming a temporary alliance to combat the winning Nationalists, but it will end with the Nationalists securing a decisive victory and taking the capital Kivonia. The role-play will continue after the civil war with the establishment of a soft dictatorship (again modeled on Francoist Spain) which will rule for a couple of years until political, military, economic and cultural stability has been achieved upon which a transition toward democracy will begin (this will generally occur once the planned update to the cultural protocols have been approved). Once this bill has passed and been approved by the players, the role-play will begin. |
