Message | Fritz Behring, Minister of Finance and federal secretary of the NLP: The intervention of the military in the police is a dangerous thing. An oppressive government could use this as a tool to suppress demonstrations and other legal assemblies. We have a police because we want to separate the civilian and military executive organizations. However we advocate that the military can and should be used as an additional force to help after natural disasters. |
