Message | Mr Speaker, We urge the government to rethink this policy, the coalition introduced the current policy to ensure that our citizens were always first choice for employment and careers within our nation, by allowing foreign nationals the same opportunities as our own citizens we may see national unemployment levels rise and a lack of skilled workers within our economy. Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
