Message | Mr. Speaker While we can agree with the government that a certain level of protectionism when Hutori's economy is still growing and evolving after years of neglect is not necessarily a bad thing, is having the Federal Government needing to approve every single time a foreign investor wants to invest in a Hutorian company, or buy stocks on the Hutorian Stock Exchange going too far? Would thr Minister of International Trade and Economic Development not agree that merely protecting Hutorian majorities in our companies be better? This would not only allow for foreign capital to continue to flow freely into Hutori, but ensures that Hutorian companies remain in Hutorian hands. Hon. Erika d'Entremont Shadow Minister of International Trade & Economic Development MP for Anslem Lavel |
