Bill: Keeping Alduria Safe Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical-Revolutionary Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2249
Description[?]:
I believe I speak for most rational minded individuals when I say that the needs of national defense are of such important concern, that we must ensure that there are always enough individuals available to fill the ranks of the Aldurian armed forces. Obviously, conscription is the best way to accomplish this. Additionally, allowing women into combat units would also greatly increase the available manpower, and there really is no reason to keep our military gender-segregated. |

Message | We are opposed to Proposal 2. Women serving alongside men does lower the efficiency of the unit, and brings up quite a few qestions of sexual abuse and harassment, as well as problems of survival. It is clear from studies that same-sex units function far better than mixed units. |

Message | These studies, are they conducted by the same people that reckon there's a mental health epidemic or perhaps that drinking 1 glass of red wine a day will make you live longer? |
