Message | We would dearly love to know how this can be seen as a good idea by anyone. We can understand giveing land owners more power, We can understand only allowing nobility to own land even, at a stretch, though we wouldn't agree with it. this, however, is bordering on the insane. what is the logic? what is the benifit? what is the Reason? more importantly, [how] does it strengthen the nation as a whole? without sound logic behind it, at this point we would say no, no, and a third time no. and then say it again. No! |

Message | While the workers can be easily fooled by false promises of the politicians, landowners are experienced and they fully understand the democratic values that we must preserve. |

Message | land owners are just as capable of being idiots as anyone else. you want to denigh the average citizen the vote? your logic stands well enough. to denigh them even basic citizenship and the rights and responcibilitys there in? 'tis a foolish thing you do. for one thing, their natural responce would be, where possible, to leave for places where they Would be eligable for citizenship. many of the most knowledgeable and intelligent people come not from the uper etchilons of society, but from the dirt and muck of the fields and streets, when given the opertunity. think on this: denighing them citizenship does much more than prevent them voteing. they cease to be eligable for any government benifits of any sort... and we cease to have legitimate reason to TAX them, at least on their income. ooc: ok, i haven't a clue if this actually carrys over into the game, but the reality would be such. |
