Description[?]:

In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8088&p=145763#p145764), Zardugal is a "culturally protected" country. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the country must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name.

The previous cultural protocol can be found here: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=694400

--OVERVIEW--

Zardugal is a country whose most widely spoken language, Zardic, is based on Esperanto, and with a Byzantine cultural background. Unlike Esperanto in real life, the Zardic language is a natural language derived from Selucian (Latin) and influenced by several other languages. The dominant ethnic group are the Zards or Zardic people, native speakers of Zardic (Esperanto). As there is no real life equivalent of this group, they are based on Southern and Eastern Europeans, but also include people of many other ethnic backgrounds as a result of Zardugal's large former colonial empire.

In addition, there are several minority communities within the country, mostly from Zardugal's former colonies as well as from surrounding nations.
