The Kalopian government, in accordance with what was promised during the electoral campaign, and following the Kalopian Law on Referendum (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=655109), invokes Section B, Article II through MP Agorostos Killidis (Worthy Homeland). With this purpose, Mr. Killidis calls on the population of Kalopia, according to the electoral law, to vote in the following question: Question: Shall the Kalopian Republic join the MSCO (Majatran Security Cooperation Organisation) (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=5084) in accordance with the terms and conditions established in its Treaty, and therefore requiring the amendment of Kalopian national laws? A) Yes B) No The referendum shall take place until December 5422. As per point II of the Law on Referendums, in order to be valid a Referendum must reach a quorum of at least 50% of all registered voters and must pass with a simple (50%) majority of those that vote. OOC: a bill in the debate stage is needed to track the referendum; all parties should provide the percentage of their voters that will vote for each of the referendum's options; if not all parties provide their percentages until the referendum takes place the player controlling the Tribune that initiated the referendum can determine the missing percentages ___________________________________________________________________ June 5422: The results on the referendum are as follows: Question: Shall the Kalopian Republic join the MSCO (Majatran Security Cooperation Organisation) (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=5084) in accordance with the terms and conditions established in its Treaty, and therefore requiring the amendment of Kalopian national laws?
