| PREAMBLE The Fourth Council of Princes of Cildania to select a Grand Prince was held at the Monastery of St. Origen in Aqildar in December 5433 following the death of Grand Prince Mikiel. The Council of Princes is conducted in seclusion, with the Monastery sealed from the public until a selection is made. Voting results are not released to the public, and are known only by those with highest levels of security clearance in Cildania. CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION (1) Prince Xmun of Aqildar, of the House of Kilian; (2) Prince Yadisgan Zaman ben Keffou of Aheblun, of the House of Elkan; (3) Prince Pawlu of Gilzon, of the House of Mattanid-Basjani; (4) Prince Mazarand of Jilrit, of the House of Mirabitur; (5) Prince Zidon of Kinaan, of the House of Ashtzaph. ELECTORS All candidates are given one vote; the Prime Minister is given one vote; the Patriarch of the Apostolic Church of the Isles is given two votes. FIRST ROUND Prince Xmun of Aqildar casts his vote for himself. Prince _ casts his vote for Prince Xmun of Aqildar Prince Pawlu casts his vote for Prince Xmun of Aqildar Prince Mazarand of the House of Mirabitur casts his vote for Prince Xmun of Aqildar Prime Minister Iżabella Falzon (PK) casts her vote for Prince Xmun of Aqildar Patriarch Alexander XXII of the Apostolic Church of the Isles casts two votes for Prince Xmun of Aqildar RESULTS OF THE FIRST ROUND Prince Xmun of Aqildar has received 7 votes out of 8 votes cast. There was one abstention. Prince Xmun of Aqildar is to be enthroned as the Grand Prince of Cildania. |
