Description[?]:

Purpose: The Senate is the Upper house of Parliament. The House can pass resolutions to oppose bills proposed to the lower house and can block implementation of bills if a 2/3 majority is reached.

Leadership: The Speaker of the Senate shall be the Governments Internal Affairs Minister who will be a non-voting member(except to break ties).However, the Internal Affairs minister may appoint anyone to serve as Presiding Officer. The president serves as the Leader of the House (LoTH) and the party with the second largest party is called the Leader of the Opposition (LoTO). It is customary for the President to serve as the mouth piece for the government and defend policies against resolutions or blocked implementation.

Member Selection: Members are appointed for a lifetime membership to the house and can resign their post at anytime. 50 members are appointed by the president every 4 following a election. Each Regional Government appoints 50 members every 5 years following the elections to the local parliaments. Parliament will also apoint 50 members every 4 years. membership is limited to 2,500 members and appoints will be limited until that numbers is reduced. (Membership is reduced year on year based on random probability and years in House.) Cross-Benchers may also be appointed cross-benchers are selected by the Prime Minister and approved 2/3 of the Parliament.
