| In response to the ongoing situation in Kirlawa where our boys and girls of the Northern Fleet and the Carrier Fleet have set up a quarantine around the waters of the Kirlawan dictatorship, and especially in response to potentially having to face 3 million soldiers of Davostag (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4349&p=194007#p194007), measures must be taken to ensure the Home Provinces, the Aberri Nazionala (National Homeland), is not threatened nor her sovereignty threatened. The Davostagers also have large forces stationed in our neighbors to the east in Endralon. It is now clear that Davostag intends, with these forces, to cut us off at the knees. The Aberri Nazionala has been threatened and we were blind to it. Kirlawa was just the lighting match. We have asked our partners in Luthori to assist in ensuring that we have a standing chance in this fight. We have received promises. Dundorf has managed to secure their ambassadorial staff yet we remain to do so. To do so now will mean a war. We will be alone in this fight. We will be alone and we will have to sacrifice our men and women for a needless cause. The Kirlawan Junta need only to open their border and stop their chemical weapons program yet this has not been done. Now snakes grow within the air and wish to bring harm to the Aberri Nazionala. Therefore, on my authority and the auspices of the Emergencies Act 5203 (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=680100), I declare a state of war inside all of our territories in Kundrati. I must clarify this is not a declaration of war on anyone. We still have hopes for peace, but now we must have that hope prepared to do what we must to defend the homeland. I am further calling for the mobilization of all Kundrati soldiers, reservist or active, to prepare for this threat. I shall also call on further volunteers especially in Peghonai and Lirnak to join our armed forces urgently. All of our troops and gear must be prepared, and if necessary we will have to include the Southern Fleet as well. That will mean that all of the provinces will be grouped into Army Corps and that the Lirnak and Peghonai Army Corps will prepare at once for conflict in Kirlawa while the Pilgon, Celania and Jildrath Army Corps will prepare for anything coming from Endralon. I am also going to reactivate the Territorial Defense, an action which has not been done since the Emergency two hundred years back. Citizens of Peghonai and Lirnak are encouraged to participate and weapons shall be provided to help arm them alongside providing these folks with as much military training as we can jam in. This conflict, so close to our home and right next to us, will therefore require our utmost attention. I am also going to declare that our military companies must ramp up production of all products at once. We must be prepared to give it our all and this must mean preparing and stockpiling. These are all drastic measures. I am not happy to declare this, after all I am bitter myself that we were unable to come to a diplomatic conclusion this far. We shall keep all of our options open and, in this effort, ensure that democracy and the rule of law win out. To my colleagues across the aisle, i urge you to understand the critical moment we are in today. To my colleagues outside of the homeland, I urge you to come to the negotiating table. We must find a better way out. |
