Bill: Call for early elections, November 5570
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kirlawa Parliamentary Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: July 5571
Description[?]:
Members of the Assembly Chamber, In light of the recent collapse of the Kirlawa Unionist Party, I have been in contact with the Office of the First Minister. In recognition of the Kirlawa Parliamentary Party's pledge to be a Party for all Kirlawan's, and through their advocacy for representative democracy to be meaningful and reflective of the positions held within Kirlawan society, the First Minister, Seamus Haughey, has formally requested the dissolution of this Chamber. This request, which is a formality in our political discourse, is a necessary first step in the call for early elections. As Uachtarán, I am duty-bound to accept this request, and hereby formally make notice that the current session of the Assembly Chamber has been dissolved, until an election for new Members to provide the clear and resolute voice of the Kirlawan public, through the means of their vote, has been voted upon. His Excellency, Niall Redmond, Office of An Uachtarán Republic of Kirlawa |

Message | Your Excellency, As Speaker of the Assembly Chamber, I humbly accept your notice of the dissolution of this Chamber, which is to be reconvened following the election period. Members of the Assembly Chamber, I, as Speaker of the Assembly, and in line with the Constitution of the Republic of Kirlawa, do formally bring this Session to a close, and ask you all to act in accordance and respect of this notice. As such, and until the election of a new Assembly Chamber, Government business will continue in a caretaker capacity, but no new or non-existing Bills shall be placed before this Chamber. I wish you all good fortune through this election period, and thank you for your dedicated service to our nation. Niamh Loughan, Speaker of the Assembly Chamber |
