Message"Furthermore we will take the argument that when all industry is to be operated by the government, private advertising is not neccesary." - Hence we will take the argument that any change in the law is an unnecessary bureaurocracy. Remember that this includes all advertising, including foreign companies selling in Hobrazia. We should not stop them being allowed to advertise their wares, but they must conform to advertising standards.

ToDebating the Advertising regulation
MessageThe Union Party problem with the proposed legislation is slightly different to that of the WSS!P. We believe that only allowing the government to advertise will hurt the cultural and political health of our nation. Cars and resturants are not the only things one sees commercials for. Politicians running for office, requests from non-profit charities, and adverts for large celebrations should be explicitly allowed to be the subject of advertising. The Union Party can only accept this proposal if the author ammends it to include explicit exceptions for politicans, political parties, non-profit groups, community organizations, workers councils, and any others which might want to advertise in a non-capitalist fashion.
