Old value:: The government fully subsidizes tuition.
Current: The government subsidizes tuition only for students from families classified as low-income or poor.
Proposed: The government introduces means tested loans for higher education tuition, to be paid back by students after earnings reach a certain amount.

Message | Amazing that you'd feel that way, as this allows approximately 1.2 million college students annually when there are some 12+ eligible. So by keeping this you're basically saying to 90% of the people that want to go to college "No, you can't.". That's nice and fair, because they can't go even if they can pay for it. |
