Message | If you look at the GIni curves, the low rates of tax make no difference at all - This basically does the following: 1) abolishes the 1% band 2) abolishes the 3% band 3) reduces the 13% band to 10% 4) reduces the 22% band to 20% 5) adds a new Higher band, which affects only the very richest earners, at 35% |
