Message | 1) Possibly, but it must be the decision of the federal government. 2) No way. The death penalty is a terrible thing. 3) No way. See 2). 4) No. We cannot be foolhardy with weapons. A taser can do damage. A baton can do damage. Why do we need firearms to simply stop a suspect? |

Message | will a taser or baton stop a criminal with a firearm? as for two I think in certain extreme cases it is necessary terrorist traitors and mass murders do not deserve life or sympathy as for extradiction we cannot continue to harbor criminals who fled to our country for protection that is just crazy |

Message | A taser can. If there is a heavily armed criminal, that's what we have special squads for. How can you justify something that can kill innocents? People can be accused and convicted wrongly. With prison they can be released - with death they cannot. And we can punish them in our own country. We won't extradite to inhuman regimes. |

Message | when it comes to terrorist mass murders and traitors it is highly doubtful our courts will get it wrong plus there are years of appeals if the crime was committed in another country it should be handled in another country as for the police lets say that an officer stops a guy on a routine traffic stop and the guy opens fire is the officer suppose to throw his baton at him? there are cituations in which you cant wait for special squads to save the day |

Message | If the cops have guns, do you think that criminals are more or less likely to make sure they are armed as well? |

Random quote: "We must show that liberty is not merely one particular value but that it is the source and condition of most moral values. What a free society offers to the individual is much more than what he would be able to do if only he were free. We can therefore not fully appreciate the value of freedom until we know how a society of free men as a whole differs from one in which unfreedom prevails." - Friedrich August Hayek |
