Messageyoung children should be protected from this. If adults want to watch nudity all day long, they can buy a DVD or get a decoder.

MessageOr, if parents want to "protect" their children from nature (er, nudity), then they can buy a device to block such programming. Such technology is growing in popularity. We are against.

Most Cable/Stellite providers who provide digital decoders have child locks and you'll find that there are over 18's TV programmes and mild nudity on some premium TV stations during the day. That's fine, there's a childlock. HOWEVER: On basic Cable and Satellite, there is NO child locking programe, especially on basic cable as there's no decoder/interactive TV to perform the child lock. So, the reality is, children are not protected from this current legislation. If a child is watching, say the Cartoon Network on a Saturday morning - you think its ok for the child to switch over to hard-core porn? - We're talkign about young children here and the state should protect them.
