Message | Our economy is in a mess. We have high umemployment across the nation, some regions are worse than others. Figures from the World Ranking of our regions: Position(out of 279): Region: Percentage Unemployment: 98 Dilganato 5.55% 193 Tokundi 7.82% 146 Domale 6.89% 212 Egato 8.41% 220 Irkawa 8.58% These figures prove that our current economic system is not working. We're not attracting sufficient investment, there are not enough jobs available and there is a dangerously large surplus of labour. Article 1: Forbids child labour. Children will be at school and will pick up new skills, upskilling the workforce. this also decreases the supply of labour, increaisng employment and prevent the exploitation of young workers. Article2: Allows Foreign companies to take over national companies, making Cobura a better place to do business and more attracting to foreign investors who have the capital and expertise to make these companies more efficient and increase employment, helping our enterprise culture develope. Article 3: Reduces immigration drammatically. We have a large surplus of labour. Our immigration policy further increases our population, hence our unemployment rate, hence our standard of living declines. The fact that immigrants with the needed skills that we currently lack are wlloed to reside here, means our economy will not be affected. We NEED this article to reduce unemployment and to increase the standard of living of our people. Article 4: The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing FAILING industries that provide VITAL goods or services. Business can't function without VITAL goods and services, such as energy, transport, ports, airports etc. If these vital services are not provided we will NOT, we will NOT attract foreign companies to our country. The government will only provide these services if the private sector is unable to. This will decrease unemployment, create a better enterprise culture and attract more foreign investment. You've see the bill, you've seen the facts, you've heard my proposal. Our country needs this bill, our people need it or their standard of living will continue to decline. |

Message | "by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services" What is wrong with this? These are VITAL good and services and its a "last resort". If vital goods and services aren't available, companies will be disuaded from setting up shop here. |
