Bill: Industrial Democracy Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Catholic Workers Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2257
Description[?]:
We wish to promote, via government control, a truly democratic and revolutionary society in which the workers run their own factories and control their own economic destiny, as they currently determine their own political destiny. While promoting DWC's in the long run, the Telamon Left sees the importance of Labor and Trade Unions in promoting working-class solidarity and in facilitating the change to a democratic, industrial state. |

Message | Again, Article 1 forces people to do things unneccesarily. If a Telamonian doesn't want to be in a trade union, they shouldn't have to. |
Date | 03:16:48, July 18, 2006 CET | From | Catholic Workers Union | To | Debating the Industrial Democracy Act |
Message | The working-class of Telamon must unite if a truly cooperative commonwealth can be established. The only way to do this is to unionize all industries. |

Message | We still say that it should be up to the workers of Telamon to decide if they want to unionize. |

Message | Please excuse my gagging, I nearly went into convulsions. There is no way on this Earth that the Conservative party would even consider either of these two articles. The point of not having these articles was made crystaline clear in Britain in the 1980's. Weren't you there? |
