From | United Liberty Party | To | Debating the Income Tax Reduction Act | Message | This bill eliminates the income tax burden on our poorest citizens, allowing them to save their money and improve their lives. The bill also reduces by 2% the tax burden on every other citizen. The bill maintains the progressive nature of our income tax, and it also will result in a surplus. |

From | United Liberty Party | To | Debating the Income Tax Reduction Act | Message | As I mentioned already, this bill will maintain a surplus in the national budget. There is currently a HUGE surplus. This bill affects revenue, not spending. Spending will remain at the same levels as current. |

From | United Liberty Party | To | Debating the Income Tax Reduction Act | Message | What?! No!
Currently, people making >2500 (greater than 2500) pay 5%. People making less than 2500 pay nothing. Under my proposed change, people making less than 2500 would still pay nothing, and people making less than 5000 would pay nothing. This honestly improves the situation of the poor. Read the budget again, slowly, and you'll see that I am correct. |

From | Cobura National Socialist Party | To | Debating the Income Tax Reduction Act | Message | The best thing is I'm going to be unemployed as of Friday and monday start working for a company that designs and builds aquatic centers, water parks and such. It should be so much better than looking at freaking roads, bridges and the like. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
