Message | Oh, sorry, this bill's name is 'C&U - Employer's Rights Bill 2257'. Description: This bill endeavours to curb illegal secondary strike action by adding the punitive possibility of redundancy. The Conservative Party seeks support on this bill. |

Message | I'm going to have to disagree on this one, it sort of defeats the purpose of a strike. |

Message | I think by voting to strike and then striking, the employer would not have due cause to make the strikers redundant. However, if a union violated the law and had a sympathy strike, it would then be up to the employer's discretion as to whether to make the secondary strikers redundant. Please recondisder. |

Message | You are placing far too much faith in the infallibility of the employer, and far too little faith in the law-abiding nature of the employee. |

Message | I still don't see how my bill is dangerous. It says that workers may be made redundant for illegal secondary strike action. If the union has its own grievance and votes to strike, the employer has no case for sacking striking miners. Please reconsider. |
