MessageThis is NOT actually a tax. Read the treaty. It sets out that we will only impose trade tariff on a reciprocal basis, otherwise there will be free trade.

It's not a very well named treaty, but it is a perfectly good one.

MessageWhat, free trade with countries which will impose tariffs? The reality is that we'd come off worse. This is pretty much a free trade treaty, only it also allows us to deal with hostile tariffs if necessary.
