Current: Religions are permitted to freely promote and advertise themselves.
Proposed: Religious organizations are not permitted to actively promote themselves or advertise, however evangelism is permitted by individuals.

Message | I first wanted to forbid religious groups from advertising (including evangelism), but it seemed a very big change, too violent. I believe that evangelism is not dangerous, anyway less dangerous than propaganda. That is why I believe it could remain a way for the religious groups to promote themselves, more "traditional" maybe. I look forward, if this bill passes, to continue in that way. |
