Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Democrats
Status[?]: defeated

Voting deadline: December 2260
Description[?]:
"That's right. No euphemisms. We're calling it censorship because that is what it is. We propose establishing a Board of Censorship consisting of members from each party based on legislative strength. This Board will judge the validity of news broadcasts and will have authority to direct the police to prevent inciteful broadcasts. That is how vital it has become for all news to be trusted. We cannot afford in this time of crisis to allow false or inciteful media." -- Director General Jaques Phargle |
