| Noting the recent unacceptable aggression by the forces of Central Likatonia in their occupation of the autonomous nation of Keymon; And further noting Likatonian threats towards the Telamonite island Province of Migadon; The Democratic Left Front urges the following immediate action: 1. Declaration of state of emergency in the Province of Migadon to suppress any native support for fascism or Likatonian annexation. This is in light of the Likatonian occupation of Keymon under the guise of being called there by the Keymonian Christian Democrats. 2. Official conscription of Telamonites between the ages of 18 and 24, to form a Telamonite National Defense Army. Pursuant to law, said army will contain 500,000 Telamonite men and women, and may be expanded or disbanded as events unfold. This to be decided by military commanders. 3. Official recognition of independent Keymon and request that Foreign Affairs Minister present the Treaty known as the "Keymon Neutrality Agreement" for ratification. 4. Pursuant to Telamonite law governing arms sales which must be done only on a case by case basis, all arms sales to the nations of Central and Greater Likatonia will cease. Furthermore, the Foreign Affairs Ministry will contact Keymonian resistance forces and open up dialogue, including financial and military support. 5. Immediate shift of all Telamonite army, naval, and air force units available to the island of Migadon. Military spending will focus on fortifying defenses there, particularly on the southern beaches. 6. Authorize Foreign Affairs Department to consider sanctions and report on feasibility of such action with regards to Likatonia. 7. Officially strip credentials of Likatonian ambassador. |
