Bill: Gun Control!
Details
Submitted by[?]: Party of Cigolism
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2261
Description[?]:
Tighter restrictions on guns are needed to ensure the safety of our citizens. Yes it is not ideal, but unless you know of a less imposing method of preventing tragedy that routinely occurs with lax gun control then I think you should vote YES to GUN CONTROL. |

Message | The best way to oppose tragedy is to make sure everyone is well armed. if all the kids at columbine had been well armed and trained, no tragedy would have occured. |

Message | I disagree. In the scenario you describe the potential for tragedy increases more than twofold. In fact, we should no longer call it tragedy but genocide :D |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
