Bill: Peace and Unity Cabinet (BCP-NDIB-ARL)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Barmenistan Communist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2264

Description[?]:

With the departure of the Tories, the time is ripe for a populist, social democratic government. The time is also ripe for a government that is willing to reach out and hope that the ARL is serious in their desire for a cease-fire, and offer them an olive branch consisting of two cabinet posts.

MessageVery minor cabinetposts of no importance at all for your ARL friends. Don't you have something else to offer, some real power in stead of this sop ?

Message....and why hold the BCP the HOG, Foreign Affairs and Finance ? it seems you find it quite unfortunate that you need the NBID in your cabinet.

MessageDoes it really? Is that why we gave them the Defense and Internal Affairs portfolios?

MessageI just think you wouldn't be satisfied with the BCP giving itself ANY cabinet posts, isn't that right? Talk about anti-democratic....

MessageIt would really help if I could get the support of the NDIB and the ARL on this....it's good for all three parties...
