Bill: Donaldson Effective Welfare Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Catholic Workers Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2270
Description[?]:
Our welfare policies must be compassionate and effective, and include multiple strategies for success. Large families often have serious difficulty caring for their children, they should get aid. Government owned housing is tremendously ineffective, as it usually concentrates poor people in one place. It's a better idea to contract with private companies to build housing, in this case by giving families housing subsidies and allowing them to pick their own homes across the nation. |
