Bill: Removal of DWC's Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Gnazenal Phr'unt
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2269
Description[?]:
The current law is the greatest crime of recent Lodamese history. Busnesses should be controlled by those who create them, not by those who work in them. Since all businesses were handed over to DWC's, how many have been created? Where would you find a DWC composed of unemployed people who are willing to invest money in a business? You wouldn't, it is complete madness to remove businesses from non-DWC owners. |

Message | This law...without the bullshit and mess it created with the cyclical seizing and un-seizing of businesses...and the economic chaos that resulted in the lodamese RP... Best to luck to you...whatever your name is |
Date | 22:21:48, August 15, 2006 CET | From | Cooperative Commonwealth Federation | To | Debating the Removal of DWC's Bill |
Message | Oh good, hecklers. The CCF will supprot a sensible policy that lets people form workers councils, and encourages it. The constant back-and-forth between total market and total state ownership seems unwise. |

Message | Aye, when the new game allows proper control of the economy one expects to see plenty of problems arising due to proposals such as the above and its predecessor. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
