From | Liberal Progressive Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | The PSFA, an Alorian party and a member of the governing Zionist Coalition in the country, have sent paramilitary forces to communist insurgent troops in Rildanor. While other goverments are supporting this illegitmate and barbaric insurgency, Aloria is on our borders and with tensions rising between the LPP and PSFA in particular we must take action. Therefore, I propose economic sanctions on Aloria as long as they contain the PSFA in government. We are the richest nation in Terra - let's use our resources for good. |

From | People's Socialist Front of Aloria | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | I urge all leftist and freedom-loving party not to agree to this bill, as it only goes to further the cause of Fascism and exploitation on Rildanor.
On a further note, the Foreign Minister does not have a parliamentary majority anymore; the Zionist Coalition (Popular Front of Aloria) has a majority, and even are the Head of State and Government in Aloria. Due to the absence of the former (he's in Spain currently and can't connect to internet...), we cannot get our cabinet proposal to pass unfortunatly, but be aware of the fact that the Foreign Minister is not recognized by the parliamentary majority; the Zionist Coaliton. |

From | Fair Capitalism Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | The cabinet is still the government - we are acting from a worrying lack of input from the HoS.
(OOC: It's not our problem he didn't inactivate himself before the elections.) |

From | People's Socialist Front of Aloria | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | You still don't have a parliamentary majority. We have one, and we refuse to aknowledge your government.
OOC: I'm not saying it is :P . I'm simply not accepting your claims to government, a bit like we accused the Conservative Party of electoral fraud to get a reelection :P . |

From | Liberal Progressive Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | The ZC has a Parliamentary majority, and after next election will likely be in Cabinet. We concede they are not yet, but if they are let into Cabinet Aloria will face sanctions. Think of it as a warning to the AMNP, DLP and other Zionist Coalition parties. |

From | People's Socialist Front of Aloria | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | This is a disruption of the democratic process in Aloria, and will be treated as such when our Head of State is active again and can approve our cabinet proposal. We will treat any hostile move by Kirlawa with equal hostility. |

From | Liberal Progressive Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | The people of Aloria didn't elect you on a mandate of sending paramilitary - and I fear soon Alorian troops - to a communist insurgency. Not in your 'manifesto', methinks. Simply put, you are getting paramilitaries to fight an illegal war and it is unacceptable that you are in Cabinet - and in the defence position at that! |
Date | 17:13:07, August 26, 2006 CET |
From | Liberal Progressive Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | It is our right to put sanctions on you. We are a sovereign nation, and it is our right to control our borders economically and politically. |
Date | 22:36:29, August 26, 2006 CET |
From | Democratic Party of Kirlawa | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | fine we are for sanctions and any military actions needed to end this threat my stance has always been that we need to destroy any communist or fascist threat that interfered with free democratic societies and it looks as if this is that time
we shall vote for any actions to to end this threat |

From | Kirlawan Communist Party | To | Debating the Motion: Aloria Sanctions | Message | Blah. Maybe I just don't have the time or patience for a "really big RP" right now. Just consider me opposed to the war and have at it. |
