Bill: Freedom Cabinet of 2280

Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Coalition of the Willing

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2280

Description[?]:

Following the wholesale changes indicated by the recent elections, the BFODT Party look to the future. The Axis Mundi Revolution Party have provided sound governance over past terms, and we see no reason to fix what ain't broke.

What we do propose is for the AM Meria SA to be brought into government. Their clear support, not just in Meria but accross our nation indicates that although this is a time for unity, not secession, that the issues of devlution need addressing.

Should this Cabinet be accepted, the BFODT Party will look to introduce legislation to grant more autonomy to Meria, and to strive to maintain our Great Likaton nation.

MessageThe Axis Mundi Revolution is alarmed at the total exemption of our allies in the AM RLP, who have provided solid cabinet governance in recent history - but we are amenable to the will of the people. We are more than happy to 'try' any cabinet situation, at least to see how it performs.

The AM R are considering a 'greater unity' cabinet proposal, also... but we shall maybe wait until after the next election.
