Message | Interesting. Articles 2, 8, 9, 10 and 12 would garner LPP support but the rest wouldn't. |
Date | 20:29:15, September 06, 2006 CET | From | Kirlawan Popular Front | To | Debating the Communist Election Platform 2280 |
Message | We would support articles 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 anyway. This leaves: 3 - Charter schools can be very beneficial, but can also produce a two-tier system 4 - We have no problem with home schooling if it is regulated. 5 - We think that this goes too far - there should be some flexibility in private agriculture. 7 - Less important than 6 or 11, and we have no issue with the existence of private universities or colleges. This Bill has, understandably, provoked a lot of debate within the KPF. However, after consideration, we have decided to support it. If it should pass (which seems unlikely) we would not oppose a bill reversing articles 3, 4, 5 or 7. |
