Message | Our position is to go all the way to full legalisation for adult sex-workers, so that they can be monitored, protected, and work in healthy and safe premises. But all opinions will doubtlessly surface!! |

Message | Do you have evidence that sex workers even exist in Endralon? (when I vote to ban something, I vote to have it BANNED, and to have that ban enforced - I will not accept any arguments that amount to "oh, but even if you ban it, it's still there". In those cases the ban just needs to be enforced better) |

Message | Prostitution is a vile form of exploitation that degrades the dignity of women. We STRONGLY and absolutely oppose it. Why do people become prostitutes? Not for the sex, but for the money. Prostitution is a job taken out of desperation, by people who have a choice between prostituting themselves or facing homelessness and hunger. We believe no one should be in that position. By means of economic planning, we can achieve full employment, so that no one will have to resort to prostitution to make a living. |

Message | Even in the most fundamentalist anti-prostitution societies like Iran and China under Mao, prostitution still existed, and there was much suffering. We'd need one hell of a police force to beat that! |

Message | That's because those societies had many desperate people who basically had to choose between prostitution or death. When you're that desperate, jail doesn't deter you any more. My point is that no one should be placed in such a situation. |

Message | In that case, allowing prostitution as a means of escape, while we improve society as a whole to remove entirely the need for it ... and we have ourselves an answer. My bill's not for the good of kerb crawlers, but to combat HIV in sex-workers and unsolved murders and the like. |

Message | We must have millions of onanists f there are no prostitutes here ;) |

Message | In real life, I could agree to allowing prostitution with the provision that the state should be working towards providing every prostitute with better job options, and setting a timetable for a gradual phase-out of prostitution entirely. But this is a game, so we can say we've already passed that point and there are no longer any women in such desperate situations that they'd prostitute themselves even while knowing they face the risk of jail. Besides, Endralon is supposed to be a socialist country, so we should have full employment anyway. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
