MessageTruly terrible. So it is better for children to remain with abusive parents or in orphanages rather than have gay people adopt them, what could being gay have to do with their ability to raise children?

MessageHomophobic, restrictive, conservative and backwards. The VZF condemn the very existance of this bill.

MessageHow can you get beyond conservatism? In a natural state, a homosexual couple cannot conceive children together, yet we allow them to adopt, despite the fact it is not natural, and certainly unfair on the child. Ideally in order to reach their best potential all children need a mother and a father, but two fathers cannot provide the same support as a real family. We also condemn the very existence of the VZF.

MessageWell there's conservatism, a perfectly rational and valid way of thinking and then there's homophobia, and such things, that rely on prejudices and hate. I think you'll find adoption isn't natural, so therefore to say couples can't because it is unnatural is very odd. So it is better for a child to remain in an orphanage than be adopted by loving, caring, considerate, gay people?

MessageAdoption is perfectly natural and has occurred forever. Homosexuals having children is not natural, and in fact is impossible without recourse to adoption or having a non-member of the relationship agree to aid in the creation of a child. It is far better for a child to remain in an orphanage than run the risk of being warped for life by the presence of two fathers. Homophobia isn't beyond conservatism, nor is it only found within conservatism.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
