Not only should women (within reason) have the right to have an abortion should they so choose, but the alternative is that they seek illegal abortions which can lead to infections and even death for the women involved as well as their unborn child. Government must allow abortions in order to provide regulation, enforce standards and ensure safety. Although we agree that unrestricted abortion is undesirable abortion in medical emergencies only is too restrictive and we believe that all women should have the right to have an abortion during the first trimester |
