Bill: Compromise Budget
Details
Submitted by[?]: Spiritualists' National Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2291
Description[?]:
This budget is not as radical as we would like it to be, but it does reconcile the ambitions of both the parties which want the budget deficit to be eliminated, and the parties which want to see an increase in spending on health and education. |

Message | No to any cuts in defense or Industrial. Nor do we need spending increases. |
Date | 20:37:24, September 28, 2006 CET | From | Redneck Party | To | Debating the Compromise Budget |
Message | There can be no cuts in Defence. We did our part by not cutting in whole Health and Social Services, and not raising spending at all. This proposal is simply not acceptable. |
Date | 20:43:22, September 28, 2006 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the Compromise Budget |
Message | Do you want us to end up a third world country? Many countries (OOC: Like Pakistan) spend most of their budget on defence, and do you know what happens? It becomes a third-world nightmare. |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
